Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born the 16th of April 1996 on the 16th of April 1996 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine who had Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English roots. She was the youngest of a household of six children. Four are her siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. The family resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, then moved to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy the relocated family was traumatized and decided to not learn English in hopes of moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she moved from Northlands. After that, she attended Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's shows. She left at the age of 16 to go to the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to work as an actress. Her dream was granted a opportunity to do so by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management She offered her an opportunity as a model.
